Refurbishment Progress and Bar Opening Dates

The scaffolding has at last come down allowing the new windows to be fitted and our decorators to finish the exterior decoration. Our pub is starting to look fantastic!

Inside, work has started on fitting our new kitchen. Just at the first fix stage at the moment but by the end of the month it should be finished and ready for our new tenants! Note the new serving pass that we have installed to improve the flow of food from kitchen to guests!

We will be starting regular bar openings, staffed by volunteers, with the following dates in June:

- Monday 18th June from 6pm to end of match for the England vs Tunisia World Cup game - Wednesday 20th June from 6pm-8pm – regular opening - Thursday 21st June from 6pm-11pm – regular opening - Friday 22nd June from 6pm-11pm – regular opening - Sunday 24th June from 12 noon to end of match for England vs Panama World Cup game - Wednesday 27th June from 6pm-8pm – regular opening - Thursday 28th June from 6pm-11pm – regular opening and England vs Belgium World Cup game - Friday 29th June from 6pm-11pm – regular opening and Pizza Night!

Tickets for the pizzas need to be ordered in advance either via our events page or over the bar on one of the earlier opening days. We need to give final numbers to the caterers on Thursday 28th June so all orders must be in by midnight on 27th June please.
